June 14, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Relio has announced the launch of ASP.NET 2.0 support as part of its Windows service offerings. Although ASP.net 1.1 will remain ‘default’ for new sites utilizing ASP.net, users can easily change to .net 2.0 through a technical support ticket.
Relio’s introduction of ASP.net 2.0 is a response to demand by customers wishing to use the 2.0 platform. Discussing the move Relio Director Mr. Carlos Rego suggested, "From day one Relio's focus was to stay ahead by providing customers with all the required tools for their web enterprise, even though H-Sphere does not yet support ASP.net 2.0 natively, we went ahead and came up with a plan to manually enable it for those who must have it now."
Established in August 2000 as WizardsHosting, Relio targets business and individuals and offers dual-platform shared hosting. The company also has reseller options and works out of the UK and the USA.
