SiteGround is now the official hosting partner of the Open Source classifieds software solution
Open Classifieds. As a result of the partnership Open Classifieds is now hosted on SiteGround's servers and both companies are participating in a joint web hosting package for those wishing to use Open Classifieds.
SiteGround, whose headquarters are listed as being in Panama City, Panama and its Operations Office listed in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a well established web hosting company with a focus on Open Source website builder and application solutions such as Joomla, WordPress, Magento, and now Open Classifieds.
Open Classifieds is one of the Internet's most popular Open Source web applications. It allows users to add a sophisticated classified advertising and listings manager to their websites. Developed in 2008, the software started as a project for an individual website but has morphed into a globally recognized solution that has been translated into 15 languages with a number of other translations in the pipeline. 250,000 downloads of the solution have been made while 15,000 sites utilize the software.
With their agreement, SiteGround is now recommended as the hosting provider of choice by Open Classified. A new free premium theme with one year free support is provided to people utilizing Open Classified through SiteGround.
