Web hosting provider SiteTech Group (SiteTech) has acquired web host WebSlice Limited (
WebSlice). SiteTech, which was established in 2004, is one of the leading providers in New Zealand. The company’s services extend to cloud services and it caters to a global customer base that includes companies of all sizes both in New Zealand and globally.
WebSlice has headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand and offers services that extend to cloud and dedicated servers alongside more standard shared hosting options. It services also include colocation options. The company predominantly caters to businesses in New Zealand.
“With the hosting industry growing and changing rapidly, it is important that we offer a wide range of services to customers across the board and have brands tailored to those customer specific needs,” explained SiteTech Group’s Managing Director, Nathan Russ discussing how the acquisition will expand the reach of SiteTech’s services. “Acquiring WebSlice is an excellent way for us to take further steps towards that goal.”
WebSlice’s customers will be absorbed into SiteTech and enjoy the benefit of the additional resources SiteTech offers. The acquisition will be finalized March 23, 2017. Financial aspects of the acquisition have not been released.
