The Host Group has initiated 3-year billing cycle options for North American website design and hosting customers using its shared hosting plans. The move allows customers to enjoy the benefits of additional discounts and comes on the heels of 3-year billing being brought online at "sister" organization, ITX Design.
Established in 1998, The Host Group offers a range of services including shared and reseller Linux web hosting solutions with ongoing technical support. The company serves "thousands of businesses and individuals internationally". With its new billing cycle options, its basic shared hosting plan now costs only $5.95 per month. Despite the low price the basic plan offers cPanel, instant data backups, and 5000MB of disk space alongside a 30-day "unconditional guarantee".
"Several weeks ago, we introduced the three-year billing cycle," explained The Host Group's CEO, Doug Davis. "The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, as customers flock to the security of a long-term, fixed pricing arrangement. We are introducing the three-year billing cycle at The Host Group to capture similar customer sentiment and further engage budget-conscious consumers."
