Web Hosting Provider WebCinch Continues ‘No Overselling’ Pledge with Launch of cPanel Reseller Hosting Service

December 13, 2006
December 13, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider WebCinch, LLC (http://www.webcinch.com), a cPanel powered small business web hosting provider, announced today it has launched a new line of reseller web hosting services, and says it will continue its pledge against irresponsible service overselling.

The new Linux-based reseller hosting plans, which rely on the cPanel/WHM control panel system, are hosted on Intel Quad Core Dual Xeon servers, offering customers a robust and reliable hosting environment. Reseller plans include up to 40GBs of disk storage space and up to 300GB of monthly bandwidth capacity.

“One of our strongest selling points in the past months for WebCinch has been our priority of not skimming on the hardware or the network side of our hosting packages,” said Eric Barbaglia, WebCinch founder. “So by introducing today’s fully-loaded reseller offerings, we are once again given an opportunity to demonstrate our business and service priorities. I think our customers really appreciate that.”

WebCinch’s new reseller plans include many popular hosting service add-ons, such as the Fantastico! script auto-installer package, photo gallery software, the Soholaunch Pro website builder, and support for an array of development languages.

Reseller hosting was introduced after an increasing number of existing and prospective clients had specifically requested it to be offered.

“Ultimately, by offering this, we are not only able to provide an opportunity for our current shared hosting clients to upgrade to a larger hosting environment, but we are also able to serve a wider spectrum of clients with more advanced and diverse needs,” said Barbaglia.

The company will maintain hosting accounts on the appropriate number of servers needed to house them, as opposed to hosting large numbers of clients on few, under-equipped servers.

“Significant overselling allows many hosting companies the ability to engage in and often to win competitive price wars. As we see it, this practice not only adversely affects service quality, but it also represents a business model that simply cannot be sustained effectively in the long term,” said Barbaglia.
