June 24, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting and collocation provider WebaZilla has opened a new datacenter in Dallas, Texas, USA, it was reported yesterday. This is the third location the company has set up in, ostensibly to ensure its worldwide customer base has “access to high quality hosting and collocation services”. WebaZilla also has two datacenters in the Netherlands.
The company selected Dallas as a location to “enable a maximum amount of users to access resources at a high speed of data transfer”. “Years of experience and knowledge were used to build WebaZilla’s new hosting network,” explained WebaZilla’s Alexei Goubarev. “The new Dallas datacenter allows WebaZilla to deliver the best performance possible to customers around the world.”
WebaZilla’s Dallas network is based on the new Cisco 7609S platform. Its network traffic is provided by bandwidth providers such as Level3, Above.net, TeliaSonera, Cogentco, KPN, Globalcrossing and Teleglobe. WebaZilla utilizes equipment from a range off provider including Cisco, Dell, Western-Digital, Supermicro, 3Com, Seagate, APC and R&M.
