Webby Awards to Include dotMobi Sites |

November 29, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – The Webby Awards (http://www.webbyawards.com) will include awards for dotMobi sites from now on, it was revealed this week. dotMobi will be the founding sponsor of awards “honoring sites designed for mobile devices.”
The New York Times called the Webby Awards the "Oscars of the Internet" and awards cover “websites, interactive advertising, online film and video” alongside the newly introduced mobile sites. The Webby Mobile Awards will be in three categories: Listings and Updates, News and Entertainment, and Mobile Marketplace. People interested in submitting their sites to the awards should note that December 15, 2006 is the deadline. Nominees will be announced in April and winners announced at the Webby Awards in June, 2007.
"Some of the most exciting and innovative content being created today is for mobile devices," explained Executive Director of The Webby Awards, Mr. David-Michel Davies. "We're proud to have such strong support from an industry group such as dotMobi in honoring the innovators who are setting the benchmarks for this emerging field."
