March 28, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Canadian software company WiseNav (http://www.wisenav.com) is running a website building competition and prizes include a year’s free web hosting, the company announced this week. The best site will also win $1,000 and four runners-up receive $250. The competition is open to residents of Canada, USA and the UK.
According to the company, the “competition encourages consumers to engage with Web 2.0”. WiseNav is also using the competition to “test the benefits” of the next version of its website building software, which will be released in the next few weeks. Entrants must create a website (for their home, hobby, vacation, family, wedding, charity or small business) before April 21, 2007. WiseNav will review entries and decide which offers the most creative designs. Entrants will also be given three months free hosting of their website in return for feedback on WiseNav.
