Windows Web Hosting and Managed Services Provider Alentus Acquires Two Web Hosts

April 24, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Windows web hosting and managed services provider Alentus Corporation (http://www.alentus.com) has acquired two web hosts – Website Source (http://www.websitesource.com) and SpeedFox (http://www.speedfox.com) – it was announced yesterday. Both organizations are based in Austin, Texas, USA and both providers of Linux hosting.

Payment for the organizations was made by cash and stock transaction, although financial details were not disclosed. Between them, the two organizations they provide Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated servers, ecommerce, and domain registration services alongside shared hosting.

“This acquisition provides a stable and solid addition of Linux powered web hosting to the Alentus client base. And at the same time, it offers Windows hosting options to Website Source and SpeedFox clients. We are pleased with how the companies complement one another and look forward to growing our client base by offering a more complete menu of website hosting services to the Internet community,” said Alentus Corporation’s CEO, Mr. William King.

The move increases Alentus’ annual revenue to $2.6 million and adds around 14,000 new customers to its customer base. According to the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Website Source will be absorbed into its network with no loss to its Texas staff. WebSite Source operates a Cisco-powered network and manages over 200 servers.
