Nexcess has attained SSAE-16 SOC 1 Type 2 certification, the previous version of which was known as the SAS 70 standard. The company, which is based in Southfield, Michigan, complied with the industry standard after a 3rd party examination (including a audit and inspection) covering companies involved in data center and web hosting services.
