April 18, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – XO Communications (http://www.xo.com) has announced enhancements to its XOptions Flex voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services bundle which includes web hosting. The bundle enables medium-sized businesses to cut costs using VoIP without replacing existing phone systems. To date, more than 3,000 businesses across the USA have deployed the system.
The new XOptions Flex enhancements enable businesses to utilize XOptions Flex with existing private branch exchanges (PBX) that are connected to a Primary Rate Interface (PRI) or digital trunk. XOptions Flex’s VoIP services bundle combines unlimited local and long distance calling, dedicated Internet access and web hosting for a single monthly fee. XOptions Flex’s advanced capabilities include dynamic bandwidth allocation, voice virtual private networking (VPN) and an online feature management tool.
