Zen Internet has employed Michael Viney as its new Head of Channel Sales, adding him to their senior management team due to his experience in the IT and Telecommunications industries.
Viney has previously held roles in the IT sector at InTechnology, Energis Squared and Mercury Communications and, but will now join the internet service provider to develop and implement strategies to grow Zen's Channel business.
His prior position was as a consultant to IT companies, where he provided sales strategies, business challenges and performance improvement, and Viney states that his previous experience will be valuable in his new role at Zen.
"I am really pleased to be joining the team at Zen. As Head of Channel Sales I’m looking forward to using my experience to continue to build on the success that has already been achieved through Zen's Partners," Viney commented.
The UK-based company, established in 1995, provides a range of Internet services to the business and home user. Some of their services include, Fibre Optic Broadband, EFM services with symmetric bandwidth and cloud computing.
Zen has also picked up a number of awards recently for its service such as Which? Recommended Broadband Provider for the 14th consecutive year, and PC Advisor's Best ISP award.
Viney concluded to highlight his ambitions within the company; "I will be focussing on developing a compelling value proposition that will underpin and demonstrate Zen's commitment to the Channel, helping Zen's Partners achieve their revenue goals in 2012 and beyond."
