Zen Internet, one of the UK’s leading independent Internet Service Providers (ISP), has strengthened its Sales Team with two key appointments.
David Clapham joins Zen as the new Solutions Sales Manager and Matt Whitworth as the new Telesales Team Manager.
David brings with him over 20 years management experience from the Telecommunications industry, having held senior management positions with a number of blue-chip organisations. He joins the Sales team at Zen and will bring an increased focus on expanding Zen’s presence in the Enterprise market. This will include the ongoing development of the Business Development and Account Management elements of the Sales team and building on the sales structure and processes to support the team.
Prior to joining Zen, David worked for Opal Telecoms, Kingston Communications, Eircom and Telewest managing their Sales teams selling voice and data services into the Enterprise sector.

Zen is well known as a Broadband provider, but can already offer a range of business services including IP VPN and hosting solutions and as Solutions Sales Manager I will be building on Zen’s already firm relationships with its Corporate customers,” added David.
Immediately prior to joining Zen, new Telesales Team Manager Matt Whitworth was Senior Sales Manager for Swinton Insurance overseeing the daily management of its various Outbound Sales teams. Matt will be working with the Inbound and Retentions team focusing on promoting Zen’s products to new and existing customers whilst providing first class levels of customer service and product knowledge. Matt will also be implementing a new team of Outbound Executives to enhance the sales proposition and service provided to existing customers.
