If you're looking to get a lot for your money, Dreamhost is the place to go. Just beware, you get what you pay for. Not a lot of downtime, but enough to be a nuisance. Support is awful. It would often take days for me to get a response. Not recommended.

Solid, inexpensive service. Cust service could be broadened from "email-only". Be careful with coupon codes - only use a maximum savings coupon code, like mine, APOLLO, or someone else's, as long as it's a "max code" ($50-97 off/year). Fact check first!!!

1) super prices 2) autoinstall of top open source software 3) easy intuitive console. This is the only time I've been able to get everything I needed done with having to contact support. (so far) This IS my dream host!

Some speed issues as soon as I signed up. Not a fan of the propriatary cpanel and mysql 5 was too much for me. They are a good host though for alot of people with budget sites. Tech support calls YOU which is nice, good company overall.

I've had my photography business hosted with them for 1.5 years now. Site has been down a few times in the 18 months but never for more than a few hours. Site speed is average. Overall I am a very satisfied customer.

If you want everything to just work, DreamHost definetly isn't for you. Email is constantly down, network issues rear their head constantly dramtically slowing sites down. Bottomline if it sounds to good to be true it usually is!

Great Value! I got a whole year of hosting for less than $30 (Use promo code 30AYEAR at checkout) They give you tons of storage and bandwidth and a free domain registration. Hard to find a better deal anywhere.

I find them to be the most efficient and reliable source. First year had big issues with email service, but after they got it on a stable server, everythings fine. Tech.Sup. can be very slow due to queuing system, but is typical. Big bang for your buck
