Original review Aug 5 2006. Been w/ DH for 6yrs (in Dec) and still running stable. CSR/TS only contacted for renewal and new domain questions. An original ‘tester' for new server (very stable), receiving unlimited plan. Here's to another 6yrs. |

Stay away from Dreamhost. In the past they were great, but now they are oversold. They are consistently down and unreliable. If you look on their status page (www.dreamhoststatus.com) you can see that they can't go a week without an issue. |

If you're looking to get a lot for your money, Dreamhost is the place to go. Just beware, you get what you pay for. Not a lot of downtime, but enough to be a nuisance. Support is awful. It would often take days for me to get a response. Not recommended. |

Solid, inexpensive service. Cust service could be broadened from "email-only". Be careful with coupon codes - only use a maximum savings coupon code, like mine, APOLLO, or someone else's, as long as it's a "max code" ($50-97 off/year). Fact check first!!! |
