Recently someone has hacked my site, after requesting the IP address that accessed my ftp, I found that it was a globat.com IP address. I've also had conversations with them where they say they don't want my business, I have chat logs if you would like. |

Globat decided that I, too, needed an upgrade to my domain, and wanted to charge me $39.95 for it. This has occurred 3 mon. in a row. Since '05, their uptime has gone downhill to the point where I can't get any work done. Very frustrated with Globat now. |

Globat has always been a realiable host for me. There has been some downtime but not more then any other host that I've been with. I only had to call customer service once and that was for a renewa, they were quick to respond and my issue was solved. |

After a year they renewed automatically charging for a year to my credit card. Later the same day I told them I won't be using the service since I don't have the domain anymore. They refused to give me a refund saying it's their policy. |

In theory the price & value is great. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing about Globat. Service is virtually nonexistent, downtime is excessive, and when it's up it's often running slow. A case of "you DON'T get what you pay for." |
