Been there for 4 years. Downtime only once. Some billing issues but everything solved within an hour. Owner has been available every time I have a serious issue. Happy with the service. |

I have 3 sites with two accounts hosted on hostgator.com and have been very pleased thus far. My only complaint is I had a problem installing a server and it took 3 calls to customer service (each time getting a new employee) to resolve the issue. |

Hostgator have a limit in shared hosting. You can not upload via post files via web/php files of more than 10 Mbytes. No public pages ni contract where you read that abusive limitation. |

I've had no problems with them. Even my newbie questions were answered very professionally. Speed is great. No downtime detectable in 2 months. Not the cheapest, but cheap, way better than 1and1 or PowWeb. Many great features are standard. |
