NEVER EVER use custom nameservers for a domain thru them
it's impossible to get the ip addresses changed
took almost a month to get changed, in the meantime all my hosted sites were down, lost my entire hosting business

What we were paying for a year at Hostway paid for a multi-year service contract at GoDaddy, and the GoDaddy dashboard and 24/7/365 support blow away Hostway. We're glad to have moved to GoDaddy. |

I often spend > 1 hour on hold. Often, the first they know our server is down is when I call them. Tickets stay open for weeks with no response. When I've asked to talk to a spt mgr, they say no one is available - I can't even leave a message for one. |

We have been customers of Hostway since 2005 with dedicated server plan. Their service is deteriorating through time. They only give service during daytime in the US. We are based in East Africa and our requests are replied when it is morning in US. |
