Unhappy Customer

Frustrated With Their Incompetence
Their domain name service used to be okay, but they've gone from just adequate to bad to WORST EVER. They're still using a very outdated and inefficient messaging service to communicate with. It's like pulling teeth to get them to unlock my domain name and give me an Auth Code. I keep getting the runaround and they still haven't unlocked my domain after going back and forth with them over a 40-day period. Still no resolution! The reason I was forced to switch the domain registrar is because they told me they will no longer service my domain because I'm not using them as my website host. Stay as far away as you can from them. They don't know what the hell they're doing.

Will communicate only through extremely inefficient messaging system
Moved to Mecca to because previous provider discontinued Frontpage. Had very many issues in moving site. Most could be resolved with one phone call but required tens of emails to me and tens messages back/forth on their site.

Unhappy client

Used to be great. Went to goDaddy.
They used to e great. Responsive, fast, willing to work, but now they cannot make POP3 work for me. They lock me out of mu account and I have to send letters to get them to open.

Sad to see a great company start to suck real bad.

What else is there?
I'm not a big website user and I am not real knowledgeable, but it was easy with Mecca, real easy, and for two years now I have had no issues at all. I had some questions about moving some domain names there and got immediate responses to my questions.

Good for large sites.
Moved our large corporate site recently and will move our smaller tech sites to Mecca. Easy setup, fast, fast support. Many companies today have slow support with no answers. Mecca is fast and always has an answer. We like them very much. Try them.

Worst service. Bunch of lying scamers. No customer service. They can not be contacted, and their system is automated. All good reveiws are writen by Mecca employees, I promise you.

They have no customer support. They don't have a telephone for Christ's sake, they're a joke! I get canned responses hours after an email. The absolute worst. The Dell of hosting companies.

I've been with them for 7 years. They're great with customer service, including "dumb" questions, and if your site goes down for any reason (VERY rare, it's happened only twice in 7 years, both very briefly), they give you free months without you asking.
