I have been with netfirms for years. Customer support is now absolutely lousy. They never reply to support emails and will leave you on hold for hours . I have been unable to publish my site for days. Nobody cares. They don't deserve customers |

Terrible speed with joomla and wordpress. Costumer support is very bad. I called them to complain about the speed of my website, they told me to change my DNS server, i didn't work, speed is still very slow. Anyway, I will not renew my annual plan. |

Re. Advantage plan, great cPanel, superb online manual (answer you everything!) better than their CS, always uptimes!
Grid hosting has less TOS's restriction than those shared host companies. (e.g. file sharing OK).
Loading speed is fair only!! |

I am a professional website designer and recommend all of my new clients that use Netfirms to transfer to another host - GoDaddy. Netfirms has had email problems for at least 2 years and SQL problems for at least 2 years - intermittent 500 errors. |

Wishing I hadn't! I considered dreamhost, but Netfirms had a "promo" that gave me their "advantage hosting" for a good price. Since then I've missed countless emails with their unreliable email forwarding. Cant get the MX records to change either!!! BAD! |

I have been a customer of Netfirms for about a year. Lousy support. "Your call is extremely important to us" for hours. Incoming email gets bounced, outgoing rejected (blacklisted as spam server), MySql times out constantly, 404, 500 errors all the time. |

Netfirms is historically a terrible hosting company. Thier web and mail servers are highly unreliable. Technical support is extremely unknowledgable and unhelpful.
I was a customer for 3 years and every day I was biting my teeth and worrying. |
