- Servers can overload very easily, support does little to fix the issue.
- Network infrastructure is horrible, download speeds < 150KB/sec from many US locations.
- Very insecure 'VPS' platform, everything under one linux user account.

I have been with Westhost for 1 year and it was a huge mistake. If you like outages every month- this last one was 12 hours by the way- then this is the hosting service for you, Their prices for VPS are great, but you get what you pay for!!

I used to love these guys, but recently they have locked everything down. No user based ssh accounts, no su, etc...
I also have speed issues. Oh well.

My site speed has rapidly declined as they over sell their bandwidth. Every attempt to fix the issue was riddled with excuses and the worst thing is if you read their policies, NO REFUNDS.
