British web host
HostOX Hosting Ltd. (HostOX) has announced the launch of new Virtual Private Server (VPS) packages. HostOX (which also operates under the ‘oXnames’ brand) was founded in 2014 and has headquarters in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, United Kingdom. The company operates data centers in the UK’s Midlands (Wolverhampton), and in the country’s capital, London. Aside from VPS, it offers a broad range of web hosting-related services which are underpinned by SSD-based hardware and include shared, reseller, WordPress, and SHOUTcast hosting alongside dedicated servers. It also offers domain name registration and SSL certificate options.
Powered by Xen Technology, HostOX's VPS options are “completely isolated from other users” and therefore benefit from “speedy performance”. The company “provides newer alternatives with unlimited accounts”. Rather than cPanel (which recently experienced price increases) the company’s new VPS packages utilize the ‘Direct Admin’ control panel. Its UK-based support team offers customers free assistance regarding cPanel to Direct Admin migration.
HostOX offers “services to local companies on a personal level” but has also expanded internationally. Its services feature a money-back guarantee, a free migration service for all new and existing customers, and ongoing technical support. “HostOX can migrate up to 30 cPanel or DirectAdmin accounts,” explained the company’s recent press release. “While most migrations are free of charge, manual migrations might cost a very small fee. HostOX remains the best choice for servers as they are backed by the latest technologies to boost the loading time when compared to traditional SATA drives”.
