Hosted IT infrastructure and cloud computing provider SingleHop has launched ServiceFirst™, a remote management option for the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. SingleHop caters to businesses of a range of sizes by combining its proprietary automation engine with technologies "from industry-leading vendors" to offer a "customized cloud infrastructure experience". It provides services to 5,500 customers globally and has data centers in the United States and Europe. Its ServiceFirst™ solution offers automated managed services that "extend the reliability and operational integrity of Azure deployments".
ServiceFirst™ provides users with a number of functions that are not available to the native Microsoft Azure public cloud. The solution is comprised of a wide range of managed services and automated tools that manage hybrid clouds by managing workloads "across existing and new Azure deployments, private clouds, and bare metal environments". It is provided by Server Intellect
, a division of SingleHop. Established in 2003, Server Intellect is a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and has headquarters in Orlando, Florida, USA. Its solutions are strictly focused on Microsoft-based private cloud and managed hosting solutions. Each of its employees hold Microsoft technical certifications.
“Azure is a desirable choice for many organizations, but public cloud often lacks the degree of support to make it work smoothly and efficiently,” explained SingleHop's Director of Third Party Managed Services, Adam Cady. “Server Intellect’s advanced support for Azure makes moving workloads across the Azure stack and private environments simple. We extend full service and support through the operating system level while giving customers as much visibility and control as they desire. With this solution, customers no longer have to choose between Azure infrastructure and great service and support.”
