Veeam software (Veeam) specializes in backup, disaster recovery and virtualization management software for Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments. The company, which was founded in 2006, has global headquarters in Baar, Switzerland and its United States base is in Alpharetta, Georgia. Version 9 of the Veeam Availability Suite gives data centers “everything for reliable protection and management of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V”. SingleHop’s adoption of the new version offers the company greater Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) capability and allows customers to “protect mission-critical applications and data in the cloud”.
SingleHop’s Veeam Cloud Connect option “provides” all of the CPU, RAM, storage and networking resources DR customers need” and offers “full failover capabilities for virtualized, production environments to a remote DR site”. The solution allows users to avoid infrastructure costs and simplifies the Disaster Recovery experience for customers who can easily replicate workloads through their Veeam consoles.
"SingleHop is one of the fastest growing Veeam Cloud and Service Provider partners in North America, increasing their commitment to Veeam by more than a factor of 10 in 2015," explained the North America Vice President of Service and Cloud Provider Sales for Veeam, Matt Kalmenson.
