Private cloud and managed hosting company SingleHop
has acquired Microsoft hosting specialist Server Intellect. Financial details of the acquisition have not been released.
SingleHop, which was established in 2006, specializes in providing hosted private clouds and managed hosting. It has headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, USA and uses a proprietary automation engine to customize cloud infrastructures for companies of a range of sizes. It caters to around 5,000 companies globally. SingleHop has received $40 million in investment over the last 3 years and operates a Tier IV data center in Chicago. Its purchase of Server Intellect strengthens its ability to deliver Microsoft-based cloud solutions.
Established in 2003, Server Intellect is based in Orlando, Florida, USA. The company is a leading provider of Microsoft-based private cloud and managed hosting solutions and caters to a global customer base. A Microsoft Gold Certified partner, the company is staffed by experts in Microsoft cloud solutions. It is SingleHop’s first acquisition.

There was an undeniable, innate synergy in our respective focus and mission that made the collaboration a natural fit.”
