Private clouds and managed hosting provider SingleHop
has launched Shield Plus Advanced Security – an enterprise security protection option for its cloud and bare metal platforms. The company, whose services include a number of “instantly scalable solutions” and integrated security solutions, caters to a global customer base in 124 countries, operating data centers in the United States and Europe. Its new security option allows users to repel threats to business data and applications.
Shield Plus Advanced Security offers comprehensive security with a particular focus on addressing distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. It provides security for network, server and applications, helping companies secure IT infrastructures “amid dramatic increases in security risks”. The solution’s features include automatic DDoS Mitigation that utilizes Radware technology. It also offers software firewall and endpoint protection with automatic updates and patching for operating systems alongside extensive anti-virus protection and access to “unlimited SSL certificates” to secure systems. SingleHop’s Shield Core protection is offered free of charge and users benefit from the new advanced services provided.
