SQLblog.com Chooses Web Hosting Provider MaximumASP

January 10, 2008
January 10, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – SQLblog.com has chosen web hosting provider MaximumASP as its “preferred hosting partner”, it was reported today. The company, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, will provide a “high end hosting package” for the recently revised SQLblog.com website.

The SQLblog website received a full overhaul in July 2006 when there were “only a handful of bloggers posting content” and the site was seeing “only thousands of site page views per month”. The site now receives around 2 million page hits per month and will expand to offer content such as articles and webcasts.

"Collaborating with industry leaders like MaximumASP as a web hosting partner provides the confidence that comes with knowing our back-end infrastructure maintains maximum reliability and scalability,” explained SQLblog co-founder, Mr. Peter DeBetta. “Extensive expertise with new technologies and advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2008 are added values that will also be of interest to our readers. MaximumASP is the first web host to provide a SQL Server 2008 Beta in a hosted environment available at www.sqlserverbeta.com."

"We pride ourselves on our in-house expertise with SQL DBA technologies and we are delighted to partner with the SQLblog community and continually convey our commitment to providing a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the needs of SQL Server communities," added MaximumASP’s Manager of DBA Services, Ms. Sarah Barela.

MaximumASP is based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA and currently hosts more than 44,000 domains for customers in over 60 countries. The company fought off competition from several competing hosting providers to gain its position with SQLblog.com - a community-driven web site that was founded to “offer free, high-quality technical content to the community, with content from only the industry's top notch and renowned people”.
