has announced the launch of two new ‘unmetered’ VPS hosting options. JavaPipe, which has headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, was established in 2001. The company provides “unique, high-performing Tomcat cloud hosting” that “delivers the benefits of a shared environment with control and resources of dedicated”. The company has facilities in Europe and the United States and its new options provide free DDoS protection.
The new plans are ideal for websites and applications that need to cater for high volumes of traffic. The launch of the plans means JavaPipe customers now have two hardware configuration choices available to meet their specific requirements. The VPS FAST Storage plan offers up to 60GB of SSD storage while the VPS BIG Storage plan provides up to 800GB of SATA storage. Both plans provide up to 8GB of RAM, 3.4 GHz CPU cores, 750Gbps DDoS protection and 1Gbps unmetered bandwidth. Other features include free SSL certificates, layer 7 DDoS filtering and the new HTTP/2 protocol.
"The corporation also provides the option to select between managed or unmanaged plans," explained a JavaPipe spokesperson. "You can upgrade to the next bigger unmetered VPS plan at any time.
