Web host LFC Hosting
has partnered with web site building technology provider Management AG. Established in 1996, the Regina-based Canadian host, which specializes in VPS and colocation alongside more traditional web hosting offerings, manages a broad business customer base located in around 80 countries globally.
LFC Hosting's OEM partnership with Cologne, Germany-based Content Management AG (CM-AG) will see the two companies cooperate on CM4all Sites for one year. CM4all Sites will incorporate LFC Hosting's corporate image and be available in English to the company's hosting services customers.
CM4all Sites is a leading website builder offering a range of features and functions. It offers a file browser and WYSIWYG editor alongside a range of widgets that allow those designing websites to add a number of features. These include contact forms, photo galleries and Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ connectivity. The system's open widget API allows third-party services to be integrated into websites and enables external software providers to develop CM-AG's widgets. The system also creates mobile websites optimized for iOS and Android smart phones.
“We value the reputation we’ve built over the last seventeen years by providing industry leading web hosting services with a focus on customer service, reliability, performance, and security. However, times are changing, and we’ve heard our customers need for solutions, not just infrastructure," explained LFC Hosting Vice President Andrew MacCorquodale. "Our partnership with CM4all allows us to leverage our resources to provide a website builder that is truly the most cutting edge and user friendly product available on the market today. With this partnership, we will enable companies of all sizes to create, launch, and maintain a professional looking, dynamic, e-commerce enabled, fully responsive, and socially integrated website with no technical knowledge whatsoever.” Do you know of any other organizations partnering on website builders?
