January 31, 2006 (HOSTSEARCH) Dallas-based web hosting company The Planet has announced record results for its various 2005 activities. According to the company it saw a 60% increase in revenue in 2005, the result of record sales and ongoing customer service initiatives.
"The Planet had a great 2005. We made some very strong advances in our technology and our customer service, which resulted in less churn and more expansion among our current client base, as well as growth within new customers," said Peter Pathos, President and CEO of The Planet.
2005 saw a number of highlights for the company, not least national recognition for growth in the Inc. 500, Dallas 100, Deloitte Technology Fast 500, and the Metroplex Technology Business Council Tech Titans/Tech Fast 50. The company expects 2006 to be an equally rewarding year and is planning a number of technology advancements and new offerings. "We're anticipating an exciting 2006, with our goals being to continue to introduce innovative products and services and continuously improve customer experience," added Pathos.
