Cloud hosting provider Cirrus Tech Ltd. (Cirrus Tech) has announced the launch of the latest version of its Virtual Private Server (VPS) and cloud hosting options - Cirrus Cloud VM 2.0. Cirrus Tech, which has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has been providing website hosting services in Canada since 1999 and specializes in private and public cloud hosting. The enhancements represent the “second iteration’ of Cirrus Tech’s offerings. Merging it with OnApp software transforms Cirrus’ VM “into a flexible, scalable and highly automated platform”. The company has improved the performance of its solution by adopting SAN technologies. Its Barebone package offers a Single Core 2.0 Ghz CPU, 512 MB of RAM and 30 GB Disk space which starts at $14.99 per month with discounts on 3-year plans.
“More and more businesses are sourcing cloud infrastructure from local providers who can offer a close-touch service with excellent local country support – providers just like Cirrus,” explained OnApp’s Chief Commercial Officer, Kosten Metreweli. “Running on the OnApp cloud platform, Cirrus can deliver a great cloud feature set, from traditional VPS through to enterprise hybrid cloud, with a fantastic user experience and all of the key cloud features that business customers need for their apps.”
