Codero Hosting has opened a new office in Austin, Texas. Coinciding with the move the company has announced Mr. Chandler Vaughn as its Senior Vice President of Product Development.
In his new position Mr. Vaughn will oversee development, product management, and Codero Hosting’s strategic alliances. He moves to the company from SunGard where he was Vice President of Cloud Product Development. His responsibilities at SunGard included overseeing Cloud technical design and engineering and technical strategy for the company’s Recovery Services and Managed Services businesses. He also worked with Rackspace where he launched the company’s Rackspace Cloud Servers and Cloud Files solutions. Prior to this he was founder and head of the Cloud Computing Research Center at the University of Texas at Austin, where he established a number of patents for Distributed and Cloud Computing.
Alongside its new presence in Austin, Texas, Codero Hosting has headquarters in Lenexa, Kanas, and data centers in Phoenix, Chicago and Ashburn, Virginia. The new Austin office will accommodate Mr. Emil Sayegh, the company’s President and CEO. It will also house the company’s marketing, sales, product development and customer support teams.
