Hosting services provider DTS-NET, LLC (
DTS-NET) has announced hosting products to coincide with the launch of Microsoft Windows Server 2016. DTS-NET, which has United States data centers in Dallas, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and North Carolina, was established in 1997. The company’s services extend to standard web hosting and VPS and dedicated server options. Alongside colocation and hosted cloud services, DTS-NET also manages around 100,000 domain names.
Developed by Microsoft, Windows Server is a server operating system and Windows Server 2016 is the latest version of the solution. Launched July 4, 2017, it provides a number of enhancements over previous versions including “features deemed useful for developers, resellers and businesses”. The new version is secure offering a number of layers of security for “on-premises and cloud protection”. In addition, the scalable software helps reduce storage costs and provides the benefits of containers for applications.
"Our customers are always looking for the latest and greatest solutions for their needs," explained DTS-NET’s CEO, Craig Gendrolas. "By offering Windows Server 2016-based solutions so soon after the release date, we hope to give our customers a head start against their competition, so they can take advantage of all the improvements available in the platform." He concluded, "We feel it is our duty to keep in touch with new developments at Microsoft and to launch those products and services that will work well for our customers".
