There is a reason I've been a customer for 22 years.
I have had nothing but great experiences with Hosting Matters since I moved to them in 2002. Their online tech support is prompt, on spot, and unfailingly pleasant, and when I have an issue that requires more than a simple reset-and-restart, they work with me to resolve the issue quickly. I've had on-phone troubleshooting (with other companies) that has been slower than troubleshooting online with HM.

Couldn't be happier
I've used and recommended Hosting Matters since 2002 (now 12/2020) I've had dozens of clients use them and I manage around 12 domains on three accounts myself.

Yes, it's true that you can't phone them, but my experience is that they respond in less than an hour to tickets, and the owner, will do anything she can to help including odd or unusual python or perl versions, help with scrambled ini files, etc. Very accommodating.

Superb response to DDOS problems, etc, and good speed from their co-lo site.

We've been with Hosting Matters for over 10 years and never once received anything but exemplary service from them. It's fast service, too - as others have said - often within minutes.

Having battled with inferior service from software companies, hardware companies and hosting outfits, I'd strongly suggest they hire Hosting Matters to teach them how to do it the right way.

What more could you want?
Been with HM since 2001. Nothing but positive things to say. Tech support responses come almost immediately and usually involve little back and forth. When a sticky issue does arise, they stay on it until it is resolved. What more could you want?

I've been to many ISPs since 1995. I've been at host matters since 6/02. My service experience has been tops. You actually deal with real people. At any given time I have 10 or 11 web sites working at host matters.

Uptime is very good. Technical support is generally very competent but nearly always unpleasant to deal with. Support consistently treats even cooperative, intelligent, capable customers as if they are stupid and an inconvenience.

I have recently transferred a domain and contracted for a dedicated server . Support is consistently terrible and from the owner of the company no less! A fish rots from the head down. If 'Hosting Matters' then 'Support Matters' too!
