HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
Customer support doesn't exist. I currently have 3 open tickets that have been opened for over a month and not resolved. No reply, no response, nothing! Looking for another host as I type. Don't bother signing up with them at all. Horrible! Waste of time!

What Happened?
I've been with Site5 for 2 years & was very happy with their service & support. Now, that EIG has taken over, services have gone to hell. 2hour+ wait times for support IM & calls, weeks without support tickets being answered.

Good experiences
Don't know if I am lucky but I've had a long association with Site5 and my experience has been very good. I've had a few outages, but really only about 1/year since 2007. Support personnel are responsive.

Good overall hosting
I am very satisfied with these people. One must have a little know-how before managing its own hosting. I had to change to VPS after a very agressive Denial of service attack on the server. Now it cost me more but the quality goes with it.

Site5 hasTERRIBLE and INCOMPETANT customer support! They overwrote my entire account with an older version and were UNABLE to restore a good backup! They offered me 1 free month of hosting in return for this!

Everything great so far. Had few problems adding domain pointers, but the customer service fixed it in no time. They seem to be overselling, but so far, haven't had a real issue to complain, and for the price I paid, I can't ask for more.

History w/ Site5: triple billed (I had to complain to have fixed), didn't fully install Ruby (took a week to fix), have had all files be replaced with files from about 2 months ago twice in 24 hours (still not fixed), have sent 4 support tickets pleading

We deal with several hosting providers located in different countries and Site5 has proven to be the worst of them. It seems like they have overloaded their shared hosting servers, which create incidents, downtimes and long server response times. AVOID!

Lately my site has been down more than it's been up. I tried to give them the benifit of the doubt. Well, no more. It started with the downtime again this week and I started looking for a new host. Migrated 7 sites away in 1 day and still no cpanel.

The service was OK when I had no problems, but when I did and they did not respond to emails, I had a very different experience.

I found them highly dishonest and uninterested in providing support.
