  • HOSTSEARCH: Hi Adam, it's glad to meet you. First, can you reveal a little about yourself and your day-to-day role with Boundgrid.net
    ADAM: It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Adam Alexander and I grew up and still live just south of Dayton, Ohio. I am the owner of Boundgrid Technologies, which I founded in the year 2000. Aside from running the daily business operations of the company, I play a very active role in customer support and sales. Many customers get to speak directly with me when they need help. I work long hours, but it is important to me to be available to our customers and the staff who supports them so that any requests are handled quickly and efficiently.
  • HOSTSEARCH: Can you give us a brief historical run through of Boundgrid.net's development since establishment, and explain the role the company plays in the industry?
    ADAM: Like many hosting providers, Boundgrid Technologies started out as a one person operation reselling another company's hosting services and from the beginning specialized exclusively in providing the best available support for Windows based web applications and sites. The company grew at a better than industry standard rate from the very beginning, and in order to better handle the volume of customers we have expanded into our own server clusters and added more technical support staff to provide true 24/7/365 support coverage.
  • HOSTSEARCH: What makes your hosting plans unique to the industry?
    ADAM: At this time we are uniquely positioned in both the standard hosting and reseller hosting space. All of our standard hosting accounts support unlimited domains and web sites within the account's resource limits. That means you can run all of your web sites under a single account for as low as $9.95 per month or less than $100 per year. On the reseller side, we have invested heavily in automation software which allows our reseller customers to provide their own branded services to their customers and helps them run their hosting businesses by providing automated billing and support software at no extra charge.
  • HOSTSEARCH: If you will send a message to all prospect customers at once, what do you have in mind?
    ADAM: If you are looking for a reliable and high performance solution for your Windows hosting needs or for the needs of your customers, you can't go wrong with us. Unlike many other hosting companies, the Windows platform is not an afterthought for us; it is our specialty. Our certified staff is committed to providing the best infrastructure and support in the industry for your ASP.NET, ASP, and MSSQL hosting.
  • HOSTSEARCH: In your view, which five characteristics turn a good hosting site into a great one?
    ADAM: I'd have to choose reliability (redundancy and high quality network connections), performance (plenty of bandwidth and server resources), support (knowledgeable and friendly staff), price (good value for the money), and features (extras not found at other hosting companies).
  • HOSTSEARCH: Which of these characteristics do you see as Boundgrid's main strength?
    ADAM: I don't think I could pick just one; I try very hard to make sure we stay at the top of the industry in all five categories and the feedback I continually receive from our customers tells me we are doing our job.
  • HOSTSEARCH: What strategies do you employ to market Boundgrid.net?
    ADAM: We have seen the best results with showcase ads on hosting directory sites such as HostSearch. We've also used pay per click advertising with some decent success.
  • HOSTSEARCH: From customer's testimonials on your page, you seem to have very good relationship with your customer. Can you give us some tip to this success?
    ADAM: I think that showing excellence in the five categories above is the biggest reason. We run a reliable and high performance service so our customers don't have to contact us very often with problems. When they do, they get a quick and friendly resolution to the issue, and they are even happier because we provide a ton of features with every account at a great price.
  • HOSTSEARCH: Where do you see yourself, Boundgrid.net and the industry as a whole in five years time?
    ADAM: I am very happy with our current business model and I don't expect any major changes. I expect the significant growth we've seen to continue and we will continually be adding new servers and new staff to support our growing customer base. No services other than what we are currently offering are planned at this time but we will of course stay current with any changes in the industry.
  • HOSTSEARCH: What is the first website you visit when you turn on your computer?
    ADAM: First things first - I open the ticket system to check for any customer requests that have been assigned for me to handle. Thanks for the interview!
