What we were paying for a year at Hostway paid for a multi-year service contract at GoDaddy, and the GoDaddy dashboard and 24/7/365 support blow away Hostway. We're glad to have moved to GoDaddy.

I often spend > 1 hour on hold. Often, the first they know our server is down is when I call them. Tickets stay open for weeks with no response. When I've asked to talk to a spt mgr, they say no one is available - I can't even leave a message for one.

We have been customers of Hostway since 2005 with dedicated server plan. Their service is deteriorating through time. They only give service during daytime in the US. We are based in East Africa and our requests are replied when it is morning in US.

Been with these guys for a week. Dedicated server has been down 5 of the 7 days! Support ... what support? Can't talk to anybody at the company! Horrible at best.

Pain in the ass if your trying to host an oscommerce site with their messy cpanel. After going over to dreamhost, they were too cutting edge... I couldn't run sql5! bluehost had an easy cpanel and good support. Dedicated IP address was not refunded.
