HOSTAFRICA was founded in 2016 by Michael Osterloh and two experienced hosting entrepreneurs from Europe. The company is dedicated to creating digital opportunities for entrepreneurs, developers and businesses across Africa.

Its AI offering includes an AI Website Builder that allows businesses to create professional websites from simple prompts, Africa’s first NVIDIA RTX PRO GPU servers for demanding AI workloads, self-hosted automation solutions and a local platform for deploying AI-assisted applications directly from GitHub.
The company also launched Africa’s first hosting MCP server, allowing developers to deploy and manage HOSTAFRICA VPS infrastructure directly from AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Through natural-language instructions, users can manage servers, backups, firewall rules, scheduled actions and monitoring without navigating a traditional control panel.
