I would never recommend this company I'm sorry to say. I've been with them for years. They were my first hosting company so I was content to just 'put-up' with the lack of customer support. My site was down for nearly 5 days; until I went with another com

No tech issues at all, but the customer service is just plain awful. Billing/CS are generally unresponsive (and occasionally rude when they do bother to respond).

Been with this host since 2001 (when it was www-hosting) and since it has become AK Web Hosting it has been really, really bad. Server downtime often, problems with email, no refund due to their lack of service.

not very good. I plan to get my own fixed IP and quit them. they have : lost my content, changed name servers on me, moved my server without notice, and had several downtime events.

Don't give them your credit card. Canceling the service is near impossible. If you expect normal interaction with your hosting provider, than stay away from this hosting service. I switched 5 domains to livehost.net for the personal service.
Company Response: This customer had 1 or 5 accounts with us which was a high resource website. After 2 weeks of discussing option with them, we had no choice but to terminate that account, therefore he canceled all preceding accounts with us, unfortunately we simply can not risk the uptime of customers on a server to satisfy just 1 customer at the risk of 400 other customers on that server
