I am not aware of any unexpected downtime as all their upgrades are done with plenty of advance notice. Hostwinds web host has provided a secure, stable, and inexpensive home for my eCommerce site for more than 4 months. Honestly, I'm happy with this hosting!
I've been Hostwinds customer for a few months now and have used their services to set up and manage many different domains for both my company and those of clients. Most often, everything works great right from the start, but occasionally when building new web spaces or changing, upgrading, or maintaining existing sites, problems can arise. This is where Hostwinds seems to shine.

Good hosting plans with useful features!
What a pleasant surprise. Quite honestly, I was not expecting much out of Hostwinds - not for the price I paid. It turns out they are actually very professional and helpful. Getting started with the site was a bit intimidating but support answered my questions and got me on the right path. Now my site is up and running without any issues and I'm still not paying a fortune.

I have no experience at all in web hosting and all I want is up and running website and adequate support. I have heard of Hostwinds from a friend who was really happy with their services and I decided to give it a try. Since then I have all I need and even more!
