I was very surprised, when I switched to Planethoster.com, that their technical support people actually knew what they were talking about. My old, well known, hosting company hadn't a clue how to resolve a technical issue on their server, even after I told them how to do it.

7 years and counting. Almost always great support. A few times support staff carefully and respectfully guided me through complex issues that we thought were Planethoster server issues, but they all turned out to be something on our end.
