Extremely Poor Communication and Lack of Transparency
I'm one of the donors supporting a community gaming server (DayZ Infinite RP) that's hosted through Voxility, and I'm honestly disappointed with how Voxility handles outages and customer communication.
The server has been down for an extended period, yet no public update, ETA, or explanation has been provided. When I reached out to their support team, I was told they could only communicate with “authorized contacts” which I understand for security reasons but they refused to give even general information about whether there was a broader outage or an estimated time for restoration.
This kind of silence and lack of transparency is unacceptable for a hosting company that services large communities depending on uptime. Even a short statement confirming that they're aware of the problem would have gone a long way.
If you're considering Voxility for hosting, be prepared for zero communication during downtime and a support process that feels completely disconnected from end users who rely on their network.
