Sive ICT is a corporation founded, funded and headed by like minded post-graduates from Wits University. It is a fully black youth owned close corporation. SIVE SETFU is a siSwati word meaning "Our Nation", and SIVE is a siSwati word meaning "Nation" in the English language, so SiveHost could be losely translated as Nation-Host in English.

SiveHost.com is an Africa-wide provider of shared, reseller, VPS, White-label and dedicated Email & web hosting. Privately held and based in South Africa, Gauteng, the holding company; Sive ICT was founded in 2010 by Sibusiso Khoza (as known as S'bu Khoza), who started the company from his dorm room at University of Witwatersrand, in Braamfontein, Gauteng, with the help of his now wife, Nokubonga Mnguni. Since then, Sive ICT has grown from a small Online Systems company being hosted with generic 3rd parties into an online systems company hosting its own systems together with its clients' systems and websites, through its very own Business Email Service and Website Hosting arm known as SiveHost.com.
