January 4, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – ‘Needs must’ as they say, and when 21-year-old UK student and entrepreneur Alex Tew was looking for ways of funding his higher education, he came up with the ‘Million Dollar Homepage’ (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com). The idea involved starting up a website and selling a million pixels on a single screen at a dollar a pixel. Four months down the line, and a media-frenzy later, Mr. Tew’s idea has made him a millionaire and his site is so popular that his last remaining pixels are being auctioned on eBay!
