‘Pure-play’ Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) hosting provider 3W Infra B.V. (
3W Infra) has announced it is launching a financing program for a certain services. 3W Infra, which has headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, was established in 2014. The company offers a range of “enterprise-grade” hosting solutions, each tailored to its customers’ specific needs. Its scalable and cost-efficient cloud-enabled services include colocation, dedicated servers, IP transit, and high-level remote hands. The new financing program covers the company’s dedicated servers and network equipment.
3W Infra’s financing (or ‘lease-to-own’) program targets cloud services providers (CSPs), systems integrators (SIs), managed services providers (MSPs) and organizations that need “somewhat larger IaaS hosting infrastructures”. It offers customers the chance to pay “fixed monthly installments” on dedicated servers and network equipment and achieve end-of-lease ownership. The equipment available through the scheme includes rack servers, blade enclosures, storage nodes, firewalls, load balancers, switches, optical fibers, and cabling infrastructure. Flexible installment plans cover periods of 12 to 36 months and are available to organizations that currently have their IaaS hosting infrastructure located within 3W Infra’s premises, or when planning to do move to 3W Infra.
“Our new Financing Program with lease-to-own offering provides CXOs and financial managers the opportunity to shift their IT investments from CAPEX to operating expense funding for their dedicated servers and network gear,” explained 3W Infra’s Managing Director, Roy Premchand. “Freeing up capital may give these companies the advantage to acquire up-to-date IaaS hosting technology while able to focus on their core missions and revenue generators. It also enables them to de-risk their IT investments when confronted with potentially high upfront hardware costs.”
