‘Pure-play’ Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider 3W Infra
has announced the expansion of its managed service offering. Established in 2014, 3W Infra has headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The company offers a wide range of scalable and cost-efficient “enterprise-grade” hosting solutions. These include cloud-enabled colocation, dedicated servers, and IP transit services that are “tailored to the specific needs of each customer”. The expansion includes the launch of the 3W Infra IT Infrastructure Relocation service in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and London.
3W Infra’s “data center neutral relocation service” targets different types of users including enterprises, Cloud Services Providers (CSPs), Systems Integrators (SIs), Managed Services Providers (MSPs), and colocation companies. Facilitated by the company’s certified mobile engineering teams, the expanded service offering includes a number of options designed for “data center relocation strategy, planning and execution”. These include a hardware inventory-based “roadmap for relocation” established by 3W Infra’s engineers. The service also provides project management facilitated by 3W Infra’s team of project managers while a project manager determines a project’s scope. The service also establishes the logistics of relocation before ‘step-by-step migration’ is embarked upon.
“We like to see ourselves as pretty broad-minded,” explained 3W Infra’s Managing Director, Roy Premchand. “We don’t consider it cheating when users decide to deploy their infrastructures outside the 3W Infra network in another colocation data center. We’re even willing to relocate IT infrastructures from our flagship Amsterdam premises to competing facilities. Also relocation of IT Infrastructure from a data center on the Internet hub in Frankfurt to a London facility would be an option, or vice versa. Our open-minded approach towards the delivery of engineering services is part of our intention to build long-lasting relationships within the hosting business.”Do you know of any other providers expanding services?
