June 24, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - In web hosting technology news, Microsoft has released .NET application Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Beta 2. The new release includes over 50 new controls for security, navigation, data, and web parts, built-in membership, roles and personalization services, improved and simplified data access using data sources and database caching.
The beta version of Microsoft’s new software is available for download from the Microsoft website.
There are already a handful of web hosting providers offering special ASP.NET 2.0 Beta 2 hosting plans as well, most of which offer conditional free hosting or development tools for ASP.NET beta sites, including; CrystalTech, DiscountASP.NET, Inforce A/S, ORCS Web and Maximum ASP.
