AllTech Systems and Oliver Wight Adopt Office 365 Managed Cloud Company Rackspace
Two SMBs, AllTech Systems and Oliver Wight, have adopted Office 365 through the services of managed cloud company Rackspace. Rackspace, which bills itself as “the #1 managed cloud company”, specializes in enabling its customers to enjoy the benefits of the cloud without having to incur the expense of establishing and maintaining “complex IT infrastructure and application platforms”. The company caters to a customer base of around 300,000 globally. These include “two-thirds of the FORTUNE 100”. Technology industry recruitment company AllTech Systems, and business consultancy Oliver Wight, both chose Rackspace for its level of Microsoft Office 365 expertise and its famed “Fanatical Support”.

Office 365 is a communication and collaboration solution that represents the cloud-based version of Microsoft’s ubiquitous Office software. It allows users that use a range of devices and platforms to collaborate on projects from a number of different locations. Rackspace’s “Fanatical Support for Office 365” offers pain-free migration to Office 365. AllTech “relies heavily on email to streamline communication and productivity”. The solution offers the company a unified solution to what used to be staff using a variety of mail delivery applications. Oliver Wight’s outdated email solution offered limited mailbox sizes that were “impeding productivity for its global workforce”. Office 365 countered this, but the company needed Rackspace’s support to make the transition successful.

“We’re not IT people, so we knew we needed technical guidance in order to successfully move our business to Office 365,” explained AllTech Systems’ Account Manager, Lenny Burke. “Rackspace helped make the migration process seamless and painless. Our dedicated Rackspace support team did all the things that you’d expect an internal IT team to do, which helped us move two years ahead of where we were from an internal technology perspective in just one weekend.”

“It was crucial that Oliver Wight collaborate with a company like Rackspace to provide the additional support we needed to get Office 365 up and running for our employees worldwide,” added Oliver Wight’s IT Manager, Jim Giordano. “Learning everything it takes to run Office 365 is a large financial and time commitment. With Rackspace supporting the application, we can focus on our core business while knowing that there is a responsive and knowledgeable support team available to us 24x7x365.”

“As an increasing number of businesses turn to Office 365 to boost workplace productivity and collaboration via the cloud, more customers like Oliver Wight and AllTech Systems will look to Rackspace experts to help migrate, implement and support these business-critical applications,” concluded Rackspace Cloud Office VP, Doug Juanarena. “Rackspace has been working closely with Microsoft for 13 years, and we’ve been named Microsoft Partner of the Year a record five times. We are well positioned to provide the support and expertise that customers need when adopting this technology.”
