Application Delivery Networking Company Snapt to Establish Presence in the United Sates
Software-based application delivery networking company Snapt is set to establish a presence in the United Sates. The South African company, which specializes in load balancer solutions for business-critical applications on any “device, platform, or cloud-based infrastructure”, caters to around 10,000 customers globally. In 2014 it experienced 400% growth, spurring its move to the United States.

Snapt has revolutionized the Application Delivery Controller (ADC) industry, which has traditionally seen hardware-based services provided to the market. Its software-based application delivery and load balancer solutions are proven to more effective and can be provided at around 10% of the cost of the standard ‘hardware’ approach. Much of Snapt’s growth to date has been driven by word of mouth, but the company will establish an arm in Atlanta, Georgia to focus US sales and marketing activity. Known as Snapt Global, the US arm will be an independent entity designed to manage its “aggressive US expansion plans”. Its engineering and corporate offices will remain in South Africa.

"Customers around the globe increasingly choose Snapt's virtual, software-based solutions to take ownership of their application networking, load balancing, and website security solutions," explained Snapt’s CEO, Dave Blakey. "Snapt's customers are agile IT heroes who keep their businesses online, performing efficiently, safely, and securely. Their mission is our mission."
