Application development and digital experience technologies provider Progress
has launched a new cloud dedicated Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. Progress, which has headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts, United States, was established in 1981. The company “offers the leading platform for developing and deploying strategic business applications” and alongside SaaS solutions, it specializes in Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) options, data connectivity, application development and deployment, and ‘Machine Learning’. Progress’ platform provides tools that allow users to build “adaptive user experiences across any type of device or touchpoint”. The company has 100,000 business customers and two million developers leverage its infrastructure for their applications. Its new ‘MOVEit’ SaaS solution facilitates “maximum file transfer performance” and is available with immediate effect.
MOVEit Cloud Dedicated - Progress’ new cloud-based managed file transfer (MFT) solution - combines “the security, centralized access controls, file encryption, and activity tracking of MOVEit Transfer with the convenience of a cloud-based service”. The solution offers users dedicated hardware and software resources that guarantee “maximum performance, availability, and speed”. The MOVEit Automation SaaS solution, which provides advanced workflow automation capabilities without the need for scripting, is also now available through MOVEit Cloud Dedicated. Users of the solution have the added benefit of PCI, HIPAA and GDPR regulatory requirement compliance.
